Make 24 ("the App") is a mental math puzzle game developed by Amarin Jettakul. This policy explains what data the App collects and how it is used.

Summary

Make 24 is designed to be privacy-friendly. We collect anonymous, aggregate usage analytics only. We do not collect your name, email, location, or any personally identifiable information. We do not track you across other apps or websites.

Data We Collect

When you use the App with analytics enabled (you can turn it off in Settings), we collect:

• Gameplay events — which difficulty you play, puzzle solve times, hint usage, and round results. These events carry no personal identifiers.
• Anonymous device identifier — a random ID stored locally on your device to measure retention (e.g., how many users return after 7 days). This ID is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Names, email addresses, or account information
• Precise location or GPS data
• Advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Photos, contacts, or any other personal data
• Data from other apps on your device

How We Use Data

We use anonymous analytics solely to:

• Understand which difficulty levels are too easy or too hard
• Improve the hint system and credit economy
• Fix bugs and improve app performance
• Measure overall app health (retention, crash rates)

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

Analytics Provider

We use PostHog for analytics. PostHog processes data on our behalf under their privacy policy. We configure PostHog in anonymous mode — no IP addresses are stored, no personal profiles are created, and no cross-app tracking occurs.

Your Choices

• Opt out of analytics: Open the App → Profile → Privacy → toggle Analytics off. When disabled, no data is sent.
• Data stored on your device: Your game progress (best scores, credits, streak) is stored locally on your device only. We cannot access it remotely.

Children's Privacy

Make 24 is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we collect no personal information from any user, this applies equally to all age groups.

Data Retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 1 year, after which it is automatically deleted.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
